This is the best song of all time! Joe Walsh had early hits with the James Gang then spent time with the Eagles, as well as having a successful solo career. The beginning almost sounds like the setup for a different song, but it meshes perfectly well and everything makes since when the beat kicks and he starts to sing. I just love the way the beat skips and the drums kick after each line Joe sings. The cores gets me too, I just love this song, "Life's been good to me so far". The man just speaks my kind of truth in so many. The instruments playing while Joe is not singing at the beginning and the end just blows me away every time. There's just such attention in the melody until it changes (and he starts singing) and everything is carefree and flowing again. Joe Walsh is my favorite
