Design Page Web

Here are the steps involved in making a CSS website:

  1. Define and divide the topics your website will focus on.
  2. Buy your Domain name and hosting package.
  3. Create (or buy) a graphical interface that will speak to your personally and style while not overwhelming and detracting from the purpose of your website.
  4. Convert your interface into HTML pages. Or, if you bought a template this becomes step 3, we populate the template with your text content and use your images and other media to integrate your company's branding scheme and marketing materials into the overall web site design.
  5. Write Good Content. Two good paragraphs on each page will keep interested visitors, as well as search engines, satisfied. This really is important, it is a bit like: "an appeal a day will keep the doctor away" because having informative content one each page and building a solid linking structure between those pages is an important aspect of web site design, development, and the added benefits of having a simple css frames as the base layout for the entire website.
  6. Maintain your website. I offer a weeks grace period after the site goes live to make all requests to change and update your new website before I offer you a continued effort add on contract or begin charging my hourly rate. The week grace period is a cushion I find useful in the web development process. This week allows customers to nitpick their new website and get all of the little things written down and sent to me. I know most of my customers are small to medium sized businesses, and we make it our mission to get your website up online quicker, easier, and cheaper than anywhere else, so you can get back to running the business that you website represents and promotes.

  8. Upgrade interface HTML, implement CSS design, and remove deprecated HTML tags from the code that runs your website. (usually web designer's website's only)

Top Tip: eSATA II-300 PCI Card Option?
I'm eventually going to buy a new PC with a built-in eSATA port(s), but for now I would like to use the external HDD on my existing system and not have to connect it using USB 2.0, as I know I can get up to 3,000 MB/s with eSATA as compared to 480 MB/s with USB 2.0.

Top Tip: Replacing an old video card?
What would you recommend? I dont want to have to replace a power supply but I do have a 500 watt standing by just in case. And I dont want to spend an arm and a leg.

Top Tip: I need a new case for my computer!
