Poetry Anthology Three

John Lennon performs "Imagine" Live, took by Vh1 Legends Week, one legen never forget will be John Lennon.

Some of these poems have alien ideas, upside down, inside out, and otherwise unfathomable concepts to grapple with. Try to wrap your mind around this kind of visual language and get twisted. The way you can see and recall the moment is what makes this poem so real and in touch with everyday stuff.

The images that pop into my mind as I read this description are like an embellishment on memories I have. Reading poetry is my way to lie to myself and get away with it.

Poem About Poems

Whenever I am having a conversation with some one I am constantly processing information and trying to relate it to my past experiences. Some times I get creative and over embellish a memory like "Yeah man, I was front row at the NIN concert right in the pit, Dude" when really I was in balcony seats and I would never go anywhere near the pit.

It is just something my mind dose naturally, I try to control my imagination and elaboration because my honesty and integrity come before my overactive imagination. I guess the point is that when I read poetry I can embellish on every detail, fusing the authors words with a similar memory, thought or feeling that I have experienced.

Combining the poems images and feelings with my elaborate imagination allows me to make thoughts come alive and live forever in my mind.
